Singer, Seyi Vibez Allegedly Set To Gift N50 Million Each To DJ Chicken And Others

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Seyi Vibez, has reportedly announced his intention to gift N50 million each to some of his friends and colleagues in the music industry. The singer, who is known for his hit songs such as God Sent, Chance (Na Ham), and Jajoo, made the generous gesture on his Instagram story on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

 

According to Seyi Vibez, he decided to share his wealth with his friends because they have been supportive of his career and have helped him achieve his dreams. He mentioned DJ Chicken, Zinoleesky, Lyta, and Barry Jhay as some of the beneficiaries of his largesse. He also said that he would give N100 million to his mother, who he described as his "everything".

 

"I just want to say a big thank you to all my friends who have been there for me since day one. You guys are the reason why I'm here today. You have shown me love, loyalty, and respect. You have supported my music and my brand. You have made me a star. I can never forget what you have done for me. That's why I want to bless you with N50 million each. DJ Chicken, Zinoleesky, Lyta, Barry Jhay, you guys are my brothers for life. And to my mom, you are my everything. I'm giving you N100 million. You deserve it and more. God bless you all." Seyi Vibez wrote on his Instagram story.

 

The singer's announcement has sparked mixed reactions from his fans and followers on social media. Some have praised him for his generosity and kindness, while others have questioned the source of his money and the authenticity of his claim. Some have also advised him to invest his money wisely and not to squander it on frivolities.

 

Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, is one of the fast-rising stars in the Nigerian music scene. He debuted in 2019 with his single Anybody, and has since released several singles and albums, such as No Seyi No Vibez, Billion Dollar Baby, and Memory Card. He has also collaborated with several notable artists, such as Burna Boy, Zlatan, and Kizz Daniel. He won the Best Street-Hop Artiste award at the 16th Headies Award in 2023.
